We had a guy some days ago that wanted to learn how to code in C++ or maybe just plain C and him had not access to any other computer than one with a broken HDD and thus he is dependent on his USB to last as long as possible so he would need a test of it so he knows when it is beginning to get too many too often used cells and maybe get a new one.

I know too little to help though but if I get it he could not afford to get another computer. The one he had worked well with the USB pen flash memory he had.

Are you talking about other pens ? Like writing on the screen pen? Doing CAD work or something.

not an ideal solution though

@nooby

We are talking about penetration testing like testing to see how secure a network or computer is from external attacks. What you are talking about is stress testing a pendrive.

oops so sorry. Pen is short for penetration. Good such is important.
The review of Lupu525 that is referred to elsewhere does make such criticism against Puppy.
