Sub_title: Gdmap crashes

Gdmap crashes when I click on the "Open" icon top left.

Terminal has this to say:

Quote:
# gdmap

(gdmap:18726): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
Segmentation fault
#

Same happens when using treesize (after installing the pet).
Upgrade from gdmap 080 to 081 doesn't help any.

Does anybody have an idea?

Frugal install of wary 511, warysave file, on ext3 partition with grub.

Figured it out:

After a change to the host name I couldn't print to pdf anymore. So I stumbled upon this thread
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=64346
After following Roy's suggestion gdmap in Wary crashed repeatedly.
Finally it dawned on me that the file .Xauthority might be the culprit for this behaviour. And it was. So I undid that and used rcrsn51's method on the same page. Now gdmap works fine again.
Problem solved.
