I have no idea what they talk about but they say the bug is "solved" in the kernel 2.6.37 but does Puppy Linux have that one. Are we at 2.6.35 something? sorry here is a link in case that is interesting to read.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/524281

I liked this post a lot. But it is solved if one use 2.6.37 so I am in no hurry Smile

By accident he found some kind of temporal solution Smile

So these people report problem with too many calls that drain their battery. So they tried to find a workaround but failed? and had to wait for the kernel upgrade instead.

Do we have any puppy with 2.6.37 I have tried to find it but I am bad at searches.

nooby you can find out what kernel you are using in puppy by opening a terminal and using the uname command.

Code:
uname -a

That will tell you the kernel version you are running.

I would say i'd tell you what kernel Luci-256 is running when I get home since I can't remember right now but someone is probably gonna be way ahead of me.

Hmm...Snow Puppies use 2.6.35.7. Like recent Fluppies. Lupu-Lucid line uses 2.6.33.2
