Hi,
thank you for this great puplet .
I'm a fan of e17 puppies since i saw it first in buddhapop. I also tried and used the different Macpups and noticed their progress from release to release.
Of course i found some little bugs, too.
1: The alsawizard crashes in e17, but works in jwm.
2: The favourite application menu don't save the order is some themes.
3: Running avi files in mplayer resulting in a blue screen. Solution: run xorgwizard and change to 24 instead of 16 bit.
4: The most annoying thing for me is that mplayer don't change the audiotracks in divx files. I'd tried everything, different computers, changing alang in mplayer config, different audio outputs, google , but nothing works. Any suggestions ?
For normal use i take the vlc . For webstreams with this problem i found only one solution: downloading them (downthemall- a firefox addon) and view it with vlc. But I think this is a problem of the mplayer not of macpup.
Greetings from germany, welpe.
By the way: if you are generating the next theme, whats about the old brushed metal one ?

The Gold-2 theme is now up in the macpup520 folder on my macpup page. It is in the MP520-themes-06.pet. Enjoy!! Thanks to Agust once again!!!
Max, xvidcap is a screen recorder like recordmydesktop. It uses more processor than rmd But I like it. RMD works in macpup also but you need to use the systray with it for the red dot or run it from the command line to start and stop it . Xvidcap dosent have need all of that.
Hello welpe. I have uses and told others to use the aslawizard in different macpup's and haven't gotton tons of complants about it.I have never had any issues with e and the asla wizard.
As for the favs menu if you are running mp520 install either of the macpup updates .pets and it should fix that, Follow the instruction in the first post of this thread.
You might try to convert your divx files to a different format to see if that fixes your problem. I don't really know much about mplayer so I can't help you with it.Sorry.

Hello,
Macpup.org working here...
Oh, and they compare Ubuntu to Windows, as if that is a positive thing....LMAO....
Nice mention of Macpup...Seems almost wherever Puppy is mentioned, Macpup is mentioned as well...
Cool....
