Thought Provoker...

#1 Post by Aitch »

Hi guys'n'gals

Always on the lookout for interesting ideas, I just came across this guy's website

http://www.pranavmistry.com/

and it led me here

http://veerublog.blogspot.com/2010/01/t ... se_28.html

So, where is puppy going.....more widgets, or more functionality with the world we live in?

http://www.pranavmistry.com/projects/sixthsense/

This is doable in open source.....

Aitch :)

Would be cool if it could help those that use sign language to get their sings into written text? Maybe I am not realistic?
I use Google Search on Puppy Forum
not an ideal solution though

I agree with you nooby that would be pretty cool, my parents are both deaf and I have a ton of friends that are deaf. there is always new stuff coming out that helps out the deaf community, when skype video chat first came out it made a huge hit with the community as it brought telephonic communications to a new level for the deaf just as the Sidekick did when it came out and basically replaced TTYs. Sorenson VRS has been out for a while now and most of my deaf friends and my parents use that to communicate now over long distances instead of other less effective methods.
