Insert key kills Seamonkey

#1 Post by orenbeck »

"Insert Key " kills Seamonkey. Wary 5.0

Not wanting to presume anything, I am reporting the repeatably confirmed event and asking what, if anything is possible to fix this. Other than kludging a guard over Insert Key:> Last Resort first's often are a good hack while waiting for a software patch or rewrite.

Is there anything viable for Wary 5? Further details of build etc upon request.

Thanks in advance

Wow, this used to be a problem but I thought it was fixed years ago. Have you tried using the forum's search feature for other posts about it?

For me the insert key always kills Seamonkey 2.0.11 in Wary 5.0.0 but this problem has been reported for years in other versions of Puppy and Seamonkey with no consensus on what's causing it or how to fix it.
