parcellite and clipit persistence
Dear puppians,
I also had problems with persistence in the case of parcellite and clipit in lucid (MacPup 520). I think I found a way out. I now link to a script (/root/my-applications/bin/loadtray) to /root/Startup. Loadtray contains all my little tray applets and automount commands, with sleep 1 or sleep 2 between some of them. As regards the clipboard managers, I run the following line:
That seems to do the trick for persistence, although it would be nice to know why this occurs. But that's another problem for another day...
Cheers,
vovchik

Hi vovchik,
Thank you for your tip. I tried it with Wary 5.1.2 with a later rc version of Parcellite but that, as you may have expected, did not work.
In Lucid 5.1.0 I left the old version of Parcellite (0.9 I think) and then installed the latest rc pet and that made it persistent on rebooting.
My regards
