If it's 1.08R1 mozilla then yes please upload. It's one of the missing puppys. You don't have to keep it linked, i'll download it and get it mirrored with the other puppys at brainwave, and catdude may put it with the other vintage pups.

thanks

I presume the link won't work just yet - there's still 15-20 minutes to go to finish the upload, and then I'm not sure if it shows up immediately; but I'm going home to bed :)
Do you know a good gtkdialog program? Please post a link here

What a coincidence... just this morning I looked at which versions I have...

CatDude: I have 1.0.5 and will try and remember to upload it.
I also have Murga's meanpup-2.0.0 and something called puppy-office or such from around that time...

I found this one in the deep recesses of a hard drive. md5 matches.

EDIT:

Just did a test download....correct size and md5 still matches.

Puppy was the first Linux distro I ever tried. I didn't have a CD burner back then but there was release about 7 years ago that would fit on and boot from a 100MB Zip disk and that's what got me started.

I still have the zip disk and was going to try it out the other day but must have got short on disk space and deleted it back then.

I've been thinking about this for a while before I found this thread... I've got a site that I am willing to host all these old ISOs on... details below.

Site: Puppylinuxarchive.org

FTP login information:

Code: Select all

site: ftp.puppylinuxarchive.org
port:21
user: upload@puppylinuxarchive.org (you need the full address)
pass: p.l.a
I'll make a front page when I get time, and then move the uploads to another directory so no one can delete them.

Glad to see the puppylinux.ca site back... But we could always use a good mirror in case it goes down again.

Btw... anyone have Boxpup 4.12?
