Not getting notification emails (Solved)

Does anyone have any ideas on why I do not receive email notifications from replies to threads/topcis that I have posted in?

"Always notify me of replies" in my profile options is set to: yes.
I do get email notifications of private messages, so it is not an email issue.

The threads that I have posted in do show "Stop watching this topic" which seems to indicate that I am subscribed to those threads.

As far as I can tell, everything is set correctly, but I have never received any email notifications when people reply to threads that I have created or threads that I have replied in.

Have you checked your spam box? (Where your email client puts what it thinks is spam.)

I do not have any spam filtering enabled in my email client or through my ISP.

Correct me if I am wrong but this is a well known thing that has been taken up before.

It is set up that way by the version of the BBS version they make use of.

One need to show the software at Murga forum that one are active. Or else it has a time limit that sets in and one don't get any notice at all until one log in again then it activates for that period again that is why you now got the impression it is working again.

But sure I can have misunderstood something.

NE1, it just occurred to me that perhaps the reason you haven't got any notification emails from the forum is that none of the threads you were watching has been posted to since you last checked it. Could that be it?

Thanks for the replies...

I am pretty sure it was something with my ISP. I had logged into there site to double check the filter settings there, and re-setup everything, and it started working after that, so...
