xpad (sticky notes) (Solved)
Posted: Mon 28 Feb 2011, 20:20
xpad-4.0.pet (sticky notes) installed in Puppy 5.1 Lucid.
Xpad notes are gray, no text, no edit.
Starting in terminal reports:
"(xpad:15790): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: IA__g_object_set_valist: construct property "type" for object `XpadPad' can't be set after construction"
What is the solution?
Debian and other Linux users have reported this problem and this is a fix that has been given.
"This patch makes the problem disappear:"

In ignorance I ask, how is this patch created and applied?
