Do you just want a digital clock on the desktop? (That is available with the pwidgets package.) Or something else?

Funny you ask this question.

I made a script to show a giant clock on the desktop.
I took some of the code out of pclock.

I wrote a script to make the desktop picture of fatdog arm.
Available here.
