Small Windowmanager Enlightenment DR 16-7
rhino,
the "all-in-one" Dotpup should generate 2 entries for the epplets, epplets1 and epplets2.
But this just happens, if there was no /root/.enlightenment when you ran enlightenment first time.
You can call that startup-script manually:
/usr/share/enlightenment/scripts/e_gen_menu
But it just works, if there isn't yet a /root/.enlightenment/file.menu , so rename ( if you modified it) or delete that first.
This will create a new /root/.enlightenment/file.menu
---
in general, if you have problems with long menus, middle click Desktop - settings - special FX-settings - deactivate [] "move cursor when menus move" (or similar, I have german menus).

Is there a way to change the middle mouse button for the left mouse button when clicking for the menu's on the desktop?
I seem to be using the middle button more than the left. Plus if I remember correctly, the middle button menu also has the left click puppy menu in it???

I uploaded the keyeditor.
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/WindowManager ... eyedit.pup (112 kb)
Install, then reload the Puppy-Menu.
You'll find it in Puppy - e16 - Keybindings then.
I don't know how to swap the mousebuttons

After doing some "digging", I have switched my mouse click menus!!!!! I ended up switching left click for middle click on the desktop for the different menus. I might even get rid of left click all together, as it is annoying with a sensitive touchpad.
The setting are found in:
/root/.usr/share/enlightenment/config/keybindings.cfg
scroll down until you find:

In the above example, I simply switched the "BUTTON 1" and "BUTTON 2" and restarted enlightenment.

I had posted previously about not having icons displayed on my other desktops in enlightenment. I think that has cleared up now that I edited /root/.xinitrc to remove the -o from the line where Rox starts up.
I did this when I tried out fvwm and then when I came back to enlightenment I had icons on my other desktops. So I guess it does pay to try out new things.
Thanks for the dotpups for the great window managers MU!

Small update.
This will add a 4th button to the 3 on the top left.
If you click on it, all visible windows will iconify.
Install the Dotpup, then run in the Enlightenment-menu:
Puppy - e16 - MU-e16-tools - add Buttons to Themes

Enlightement themes
Mark - these Enlightemnet themes are absolutely fanastic !!
I'm really looking forward to getting the Pup configured with this.

I slightly tweaked the Azteker2000-theme.
It has new Button-backgrounds (the 4 small ones for expose and icons).
The Iconbox looks nicer, too (new background for vertical alignment).
It also has a slim border now.
You also can let the pager use this border: ALT-rightclick - border - iconbox.
Install the Dotpup.
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/WindowManager ... 000b-p.pup (560 kb)
Activate an existing theme, so that the themelist is updated.
Then choose the Azteker2000b-p.etheme

Please install again:
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/WindowManager ... teMU02.pup (260 kb)
It fixes a bug in the script that adds the iconify-button and includes libasound.so.2 now.

It is so huge because of the large Background-image I found at deviantart.com.
I've made so many modifications to the aztekr-theme, that I gave it a new name.

This one I made myself (based on Phlat).
Mondrian is more colourfull, inspired by the famous artist Piet Mondrian
Full size:

Download (268 kb):

The backgroundpicture is in /usr/share/backgrounds, so you will just see it in the "middleclick-Desktop-background-list" when you exit X and run Enlightenment again.

Tried to install enlightenment - I would like to replace jwm with it.
Downloaded the 'enlightenment for puppy' pup and 'enlightenment MU's config' pup files.
Installed them the order as above. Restarting 'xwin enlightenment' dropped back to prompt.
xerrs file says:
...
enlightenment: error while loading shared libraries: libesd.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
...
Have I done a mistake?
This library belongs to esd sound I guess. What additional pup file should I download ?
Any help appreciate .
