Is dpup dead?
Is dpup dead?
I was looking some stuff up and noticed that there hasn't been any new dpup beta stuff since Jan 2010. It seems like it would be a good option but with nothing seeming to happen with it for so long I don't see how that would be a good choice. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't say dead, more like inactive. From dpup came squeeze/zen, from squeeze/zen came insidious.Duskao wrote:I was looking some stuff up and noticed that there hasn't been any new dpup beta stuff since Jan 2010. Gposil made dpup and he is offline for a while.
Iguleder made squeeze/insidious then went into the army.
Correlation ≠ causation, but developing a Debian puppy does appear to be a life-changing thing.
Also see KDPup, which is DPup + KDE.

ttuuxxx lent his expertise to add polish to one of gposil's Dpups, dpup476. See the thread hidden away here: http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=64227
