I have searched the forum many times and found mostly vague info and broken links. Also Libs are hard to find. Thanks to distros like Elive, MacPup, and Budda Pup I want enlightenment to be my default window manager. I am running a slightly modified Puppy Linux 4.2.1 from a 2gig flashdrive. JWM is my current desktop manager. My machine is Pentium 4 with only 256m of ram. Screen Shots on bottom of this thread Does anyone have any advice on how to install e16 or e17? While keeping in mind I do not have enough room to install the 412devx file due to low memory so compiling from source is not an option until the hardware fund increases...... |

Easy way out maybe is to make another pendrive with http://macpup.org/index.php which has a Macpup Opera 061 Based on Puppy 4.2v2. I think you're right. I love my 4.21 setup but since I can't compile anything I will just make another pendrive. Great response and thanks for the links! |
