Subject description: Enlightenment Puppy 4.2.1

I have searched the forum many times and found mostly vague info and broken links. Also Libs are hard to find.

Thanks to distros like Elive, MacPup, and Budda Pup I want enlightenment to be my default window manager.

I am running a slightly modified Puppy Linux 4.2.1 from a 2gig flashdrive. JWM is my current desktop manager. My machine is Pentium 4 with only 256m of ram.

Does anyone have any advice on how to install e16 or e17?
While keeping in mind I do not have enough room to install the 412devx file due to low memory so compiling from source is not an option until the hardware fund increases......

Easy way out maybe is to make another pendrive with

http://macpup.org/index.php

which has a Macpup Opera 061

Based on Puppy 4.2v2.

Since compiling is out of the question.

I think you're right. I love my 4.21 setup but since I can't compile anything I will just make another pendrive.

Great response and thanks for the links!
