Best live distro

Without a doubt, Puppy Linux is the clear winner in this aspect.

Usable out of the box, super fast, super light, with a mighty punch and a
ton of programs, Puppy Linux is the king of the live session. "

Too bad he doesn't say how big the contestants are. Apparently Linux Mint Julia is so huge that it has to have a lot cut out just to fit on a CD. Is all of that stuff installed, or is there a lot of stuff on the DVD that will not be used in each individual installation?

Can Linux Mint Julia save in a Mint savefile like Puppy can save in a pupsavefile?

As I remember Mint need a Casper save file and them can not be used on frugal install on a NTFS HDD one need to create a partition for using it. Sure one use it on a USB flash that one have have partitioned for it though but that shows how way ahead Puppy is being able to work on a machine as it us dualbooting and saving on the NTFS from scratch. No need for partitioning.

Puppy is unique.

Not too many live distros let you take the cd out and still run to read/write CD, DVD, or Blue Ray with the freed drive...

Hail Puppy Power !
