Sub_title: How to extract a song from a music DVD

I have been struggling with this for a little while now. She who must be obeyed often buys Music DVD which is all very nice when at home but not so good to listen in the car on a cd/mp3 player.

Download VLC from quickpet in puppy 5.1.1 or later.
Put the dvd in the drive.
Click on the dvd when it shows on the desktop.
Press the red record button to record the song
Press red record button to stop recording
look in /root and you should find a copy of the song in vlc-xxxxx.mpeg format
Load this file into MhWaveEdit.
SaveAs your preferred format eg mp3/ogg

enjoy
