Does anyone have a way to get Gpodder to work with Puppy? I have seen several discussions but I can't find any links showing someone has it working. Thanks in advance.

Man I tried so hard to get this to work a year or so ago, even ttuuxxx lent a hand but we failed. It needs Python, so it gets really huge. Could you use Google Reader instead? That is what I settled on.....

So did it work? Anyway...

jemimah has done it! I tried this out on 4.3.* and it worked :). I used the python SFS that goes with it.

In a word. 'NO'
Using SFS and .pet from above links throws up this error in Quiky 13 and Lupu

Code: Select all

Exception: Please Install Sqlite3 Support

I guess you will have to find a PET for your puppy or ask on there forum threads.

For me at least, it was just an interesting exercise as I tried to make it work a year or so back. Long since switched to Google Reader which in combination with Rox will do much the same job and no need for Python. Altogether more 'Puppy'
Actually, now we have Seamonkey 2, we can set up mail with RSS feeds too and work 'in house' if preferred.
