Puppy won't boot from USB stick after first save

hello

i thought i would post this here.

i bought a new usb and i used gparted and then transfered

a iso to the stick. the iso worked and then i saved it

to the usb.

when i went to run the iso from the stick, it did not work.

anybody else experience this.

You need to describe in more detail what you have done so far. Did you use one of the install tools from the Setup menu, like Bootflash? What files are on the flash drive? What steps did you take to make the drive bootable?
it did not work.
Be more specific. Do you mean that it didn't boot?

Your comment is a little vague on what you've done. If I'm reading it right, you either put the iso file on the drive or extracted the files from the iso and put them on the drive. Neither method will work.

To make a bootable Puppy drive, you need to run Puppy from the disk and install it to your flash drive.

Alternatively, you can create a bootable flash drive by using Unetbootin or something similar.
