Sound stopped working. How do I turn it back on?

#1 Post by mahaju »

My sound is not working

Near the Speaker icon (the one with which I can control the volumn), it shows a small cross, it was working fine when I first installed Puppy (only a few days ago) but I don't know what happened now. I have already downloaded a lot of Puppy apps, and I am not sure what caused this to happen. i think it is muted for some reason. What should I do?

Please help me

Jasper

Hi,

If a vertical bar appears when you click on the Volume icon in your tray, then left click in the middle of that bar and the volume should be set to about 50% (which you should be able to check by hovering your cursor over the Volume icon).

My regards

PS Saying which Puppy version you have a problem with may help if the above suggestion does not work.
