On Puppy 4.3.1 I successfully installed Gramps version 3.1.1 from this PET:

it does require the python files

pygtk-2.12.1-i686.pet
pycairo-1.4.12-i686.pet
pygobject-2.14.2-i686.pet

but all works well on Puppy 4.3.1

Now I have upgraded to Puppy Lucid 5

The above PET does not work even after loading the Python files above.

Now the next problem is Gramps has moved on to version 3.2.3 which is available as a Debian install. It have tried that but cannot find the Python files I need to make that work.

Could SKS create a PET for Gramps 3.2.3 or tell me how to get it running.

I wouldn't mind a copy of this either if someone can make a PET and get it working. So far I have had no luck either.

It would have been a shame in nobody had provided a pet since 2010.
Musher0, our canadian translator, in charge of business, but Music and Office too took the time to create a pet for Gramps (inventory of humans, begin task when they are still alive, it's easier fo fill the cells)
Many of us must keep their Windows alive to easyly run nice applications .exe.
Sure you can use Wine, but be serious, your Windows will be easier to use than Wine (in that case)

two days to find a Puppy able to run Gramps..
Tarhpup 6.0.5 64 bits does it from the PPM
Last version was for Slacko version 5.5 and for 'Ubuntu' Precise 5.7.1 (ToOpPy is a french puplet based on Precise for francophones, and much more)
