HP Deskjet F370 scanning

#1 Post by motya »

I'm relativly new to Puppy Linux, using version 4.1.2

I have HP Deskjet F370 printer/scanner
I installed hplip version 2.8.10 (when using CUPS only F300 was available in the drop-down)

Printing works fine

When I run Xsane it says that "No devices available"

when I run "sane-find-scanne" I get:
found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [HP], product=0x5511 [Deskjet F300 series]) at libusb:001:002
#Your USB scanner was (probably) detected. It may or may not be supported by SANE Try scanimage -L and read the backend's manpage.

and when I run scanimage -L I get
#No scanners were identified...
