Got it! 4.1.2 versus 4.3.1 ! So many choices. Kinda Lucy Puppy 006 is still an excellent runner. May I play devil's advocate. and also throw 4.3.2 V3 into the mix!

Here is the address I am going to. It should be the same as what you are trying to reach, I think.

Yes, Puppy 412 Collection is still alive and well on this side of the pond, as well.

412 Collection Update
Posted on 12-Nov-2013

If you visit regularly looking for new additions then I apologise for this. Unfortunately I have had to use that other OS, Windows for the time being, the problem being I am unable to dual boot with Puppy 412 on my newish PC. Hopefully this will only be a temporary situation and will be resolved in the new year.

Sorry if this has caused any inconvenience.

I can confirm that whois is wrong and that I have the 412collection.co.uk domain name and it is NOT available.

I have been unable to look after 412collection for for a while now for various reasons. Sometimes life gets in the way and prevents you from doing the things you enjoy, however, 412collection should have my full attention by the end of the month (Jan 2014) and I will be adding more packages and perhaps I will give the website a makeover should I be able to find the motivation. Puppy Linux is usually all the motivation I need to get going.

412 Collection hosting moved

#100 Post by tuxtoo »

Because of complaints about 412 Collection website being inaccessible I am now hosting 412 Collection using a Dropbox account. What this means for visitors is that http://412collection.co.uk/ will still work but now redirects to Link Removed.

Okay - That was just a bad idea and was just not working as I expected. So I have moved back to normal web hosting.

Well I decided to have a look at this old 4.31 Pup by Igueleder and give it a bit of an update as I have a .pet glibc 2.19 which works on 4.31 why because it is from Dpup 487 by Dejan. GTk was updated and glib to meet the requirements of palemoon.

The link: https://archive.org/details/klp006glibc2.192019

https://archive.org/download/klp006glib ... pup487.pet

I have added 2 more up to date browsers to the original iso plus deadbeef 072 instead of a very old pmusic.

Happy birthday 4.31 - still damn useful pup.

Can this be used with the 4.31-Stardustpup as well?
Which palemoon can be used?

I should think so as the kernel is 2.6.30.5 I used Watchdogs palemoon 27.94sse glibc2.19 .pet and his seamonkey of version 2.46.

Basically if some forum members could test non-critical installs to see how this will work out with 4.31 - I had this .pet hanging around in my drives and had forgotten about it and rediscovered it and shared it - I hope this will be of benefit. Remembering that Dpup487 had the same kernel as 4.31- finally thanks to Dejan for his work.

In 4.31 if doing this upgrade these updates should also be done as mentioned by Watchdog in this post.

Ok, thanks. I used the latest 27.9-series Palemoons in my Lucid 5.2.8.7. The problem is that it doesn't support some of the function that require a later browser, such as beeing able to even see a recent Captcha, used by many sites where stuff can be downloaded. So this update of the 4.31 is not very useful to me. But, I have burned a copy to CD, and will take a look at it anyway! Thank you for your effort! :D
