I have just scanned an image and saved it in my-documents.

When I used ROX to find the document the folders are present in the HOME directory, but when I try to open the my-document folder the desktop empties of all ther icons and taskbar and no file listing appears.

I( cant seem to find anything.

The other folders in HOME are all OK.

Any suggestions?

Make sure your pup001 is big enough

start / utilities / resize rootfilesystem

scanned images can be huge and well this may be the cause . . . 8)

I've trieed all the suggestions, but to no avail!

All the files are still in the directory - I can access them using the appropriate application. I suppose I could try uninstalling ROX and reinstalling - if that is possible.

Thanks for the help.

Scanned images can be extremely huge.
ROX might crash, when it tries to create a thumbnail of it.
Deactivate that in the options, or use another filemanager from Puppys menu to test, if that is the reason.

If only ROX crashes, it is a bug in ROX.
