What is the kernel number of the 4.3.1 Puppy you have?

Type "uname -r" in console. (no quotes")

It should work; I'm stumped.
Maybe try that Fluppy version; dual cores show with that one.

You're trying to find out if duocore is working;
you can always go back.

Fluppy is the only new version I've tried that uses my favorite
4.3.1 pets.

Haven't tried it; but I'm pretty sure it has a smp version.
I stick with the main releases or versions mostly.

If you have a USB install, look on the flash drive for the file syslinux.cfg. Open it in a text editor and see if it contains the nosmp argument.

How about extlinux.cfg? Is this a flash drive? Are you booting directly off it or from some menu on your hard drive?

Your desktop has an icon for the flash drive. Click on it to open a window to the drive.
