has anybody succeded installing eciadsl drivers for usb Globespan chip powered ADSL modem with Puppy?
Any hints & instructions will be appreciated

Globespan ADSL modem eciadsl drivers

I'm halfway in the process of installing French eciads drivers by myself.
Heres what I did.
First off I downloaded & installed deb package eciads-usermode_0.10-1_i386.deb via undeb
http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/download/ec ... 1_i386.deb
then in terminal emulator run eciads-config-tk.
Et voila.. NOTHING happened. Problem is kernel 2.4.29 to be patched with file 2.4.28-usb-devio.patch

Now I have this patch but how on earth is this awful thing spozed to work? It always prompts me with an error on lines 1 2 and 3. Where am I wrong?
Anyone willing out there to help me out of this mess?
