I created it for my own needs (as simple "hardinfo" replacement).

As the others said, this is a nice program for getting information on your system. I found with Puppy Lucid 5.01 that one has to create a symlink for gtkdialog to gtkdialog3 for its proper operation. Lucid has both versions (gtkdialog2 and gtkdialog3) in /usr/sbin/. Sysinfobox will not run without a symlink to one of them. Thank you for the nice utility.
