after installation of libnetsnmp-15.pet & hpliplite-3.10.2 and cups following error observed:
Filter "usr/lib/cups/filter/hpcups" for printer "hp_psc_1310_series" not available: No such file or directory
system default destination:CUPS-PDF[/img]
i am a novice to linux. request advise further action.

What Puppy version are you using?

Read here for another HP printer driver package. It works with Quirky and contains a driver for your PSC 1315, but it has not been tested in Lupu.

Also, there are reports that that this package conflicts with the HPLIP-LITE package, so you may need to uninstall it first.
