In Ice sinc?

I just recreated and it happens with Seamonkey too Crying or Very sad , only in Ice, switch back to JWM and ok.. what I don't get is that pfix=ram it was fine... now I have a bunch of stuff installed and I get the crash.. I uninstalled vlc and it still crashed.. but did Vlc leave anything behind? Is it Wbar? Imlib 2 is the only graphics thing introduced there, I'll uninstall and check. BTW, wbar was compiled in Lupu against the Ubuntu imlib2 and dev file.

Wow that was a quick response. Right after posting I realized I forgot to post that step but yes, I'm in ICEWM right now with no problem. I hit f11 and it goes to fullscreen, no issues. I don't even have a savefile yet. I'll try and make a savefile and see what happens.

Back in my frugal install of 510...........in icewm both Opera 10.60 and Firefox 3.6.8 go straight to a prompt upon hitting F11. No problem in jwm though.he only graphics related thing I have installed is Xorg_High.

Thanks sinc

There is a problem with the F11 key in Icewm, it's an Icewm bug and I will report it to the devs.

If you have nothing open in Icewm and click "ALT + F11" you bring down X Crying or Very sad

I'm working on a fix now, to see if I can disable F11 key some how Confused

Any one know? It's not set in preferences. Seems to be ignored.

So it is only the F11 key and not View -> Full Screen?

With my Radeon 3850 with Xorg_High, I still cannot recreate the problem. With nothing opened Alt-F11 doesn't do anything.

Bummer that crashes it too , view>> fullscreen, in Seamonkey

I will look into the icewm sources

Booted up the Lupu 510 cd live pfix=ram.
All I've downloaded is Firefox 3.6.6 pet....no Xorg_High yet. Switched to icewm with the switcher. with Firefox open on the forum if I hit F11 I get.........fullscreen. No exit to prompt.Just tried again as I'm typing ....no prompt. Smile
Think I'll install Xorg_High and see what happens.

Icewm with Wbar installed and running andnothing else running does something weird with Alt-F11.

And I thought Jwm was the one with full screen troubles Wink

My P3 Thinkpad doesn't seem to have the problem either.

ok, the icewm alt + F11 bug goes away when Wbar is uninstalled, since Wbar is an add on I can live with that, however, still have the Mozilla bug.

Both F11 and fullscreen from view tab in menu.

Notes for:

ICPUG: we are told to check previous errors and report them or changes in behavour with each version change, so I do.
In the specific case of video; origonally I could change both frequency and size down to a smaller one in the one step, it takes five now, with reboots between, that's new user unfriendly. A sugestion was made by someone else who had a similar problem that maybe a set size should be the default, not the max for the monitor/videocard, i'd still like to see this in before full release. I have no problem with what xorg does, it's only an engine, it's the scripts that control it that need help.

kevin bowers: i think I agree with you on quickpet, but i'm wondering if it just needs a "priming ping" first. thinking about it, there is no browser open to have an open sat connection, I wonder if that is the problem.
01mick where is the logfile/errorlog for quickpet found please?

2byte: you may find you have to drop the frequency to get your other screen sizes (use test>tweak>frequency). I have to reboot for the changes to work.

regards
scsijon
