WPA connection with certificate

#1 Post by chefarov »

Hello.

I want to connect to a DHCP wireless network with authentication:

WPA2, PEAP TKIP, (username and password)

PWireless2 finds out most of the options but I dont know how to include the certificate file needed to connect.

Pwireless2 is just a frontend for wpa_supplicant, but it doesn't yet have support for wpa-enterprise. The wpa_supplicant.conf lives in /usr/local/Pwireless2/wpa_supplicant.conf. You can edit this file by hand and add the extra options.

Or if that's too hard, you should uninstall pwireless2 and look for the wpa-gui pet, which does support most wpa-supplicant features in the gui.

I had the same issue and installed the wpa_gui pet with the settings I outlined here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 8&start=45
