Can you help me to get my HUAWEI E220 modem (by vodafone, country: HUNGARY) work with Puppy 5.1?
It has already worked once but now i made a new install and something I forgot to do. I remember that earlier somewhere I was putting a code where there was among lot of other words also something about the vendor (vendor=1003 or something).
What I know and I did: I created a file named wvdial.conf in /etc with these scripts:
[Dialer Defaults]
Phone = *99#
Username=vodafone
Password=vodafone
Stupid Mode=1
Dial Command=ATDT
[Dialer huawei_e220]
Modem=/dev/ttyUSB0
Baud=460800
Init2=ATZ
Init3=ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ISDN=0
Modem Type=Analog Modem
and then with the command 'wvdial huawei_e220' it worked fine.
But as I told I forgot what I did earlier.
Can anyone help me, please! And I don't want to download scripts, please!
I want to know what and where I need to create.
