Hi Semme, its been a while, thanx for the reply :) , I"m running Slacko Puppy 6.3,

I need to get mint reinstalled but I dont have a software to burn my mint iso to my flash drive,

I know I used mint stick.pet before but I cant find a .pet, I tried the links you gave me and installed it, it told me it's under system in the pup menu but it's not there, so I don't know how I am to get my mint reinstalled, I just need something to burn an iso to my flash drive, any ideas?

The related .desktop file will place it into category: Utilities.

Though, it needs to have python installed.

Code: Select all

root# mintstick
/usr/bin/mintstick: /usr/lib/mintstick/mintstick.py: /usr/bin/python2: bad interpreter: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
root#
RSH

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!

Use the "terminal" method.

I made a comment a few posts back where you can use the command line.

It's on the second link I left..

And what's this return: dumpe2fs /dev/sdxx

Use YOUR dev ID on the end above..

Alternatively: blockdev --getbsz /dev/sdxx

If you don't know your sticks dev >> fdisk -l

Just highlight the content of terminal (either Strg-A or by mouse).

You can insert this highlighted output to a post or a file loaded into a text editor by clicking the middle button (the mouse wheel or even clicking left/right simultaneously, if there's no whell) of the mouse.
