I have been using Precord to record audio into mp3's but I would like to start using Ogg instead. Precord has two Ogg options: Ogg_mm and Ogg_q. What are these and how are they each used?

Also, I am usually content with 128bps bitrate on mp3. What bitrate would be about the same quality for Ogg? How to compare the two?
