md5burn is a CLI script to look for clone files in two different directories dir1 and dir2. You can set dir1=dir2 by browsing directories using keys p and l and so check only one directory. You can move, remove, copy clones to a store directory and burn on DVD the content of dir1.
I find it useful when I want to burn something I'm not sure I've already burnt before, perhaps using different names for the same files. Also it's fine for checking files on a failing memory card when you have transfered them and you want to be sure they are not corrupted.
The script doesn't work if there are spaces in the path or file names.
Remember to unmount sr0 before trying to burn.
the script burns with growisofs without building any previous tarred archive.
tested with 4.2.0
