graphic tablet working in puppy 3.01

#1 Post by Dingo »

woof woof!

is time to draw on my dear old puppy 3.01. I want to buy an used graphic tablet (hopefully a wacom model)

however I' a bit confused about what model to choose in order to get a full compatibility

has anyone experiences with graphic tablets in puppy 3.01?

thanks for your tips

I'll try to see if I can get a Wacom Bamboo tablet
to work and report back on Saturday.

EDIT: Reading the first page of web site
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=16491

the bamboo tablet driver needs to be compiled for the kernel source
so I doubt that the drivers on that page will work.

I couldn't get puppy 301 to work with bamboo tablet
but I didn't try
wacom-0.8.5-10-k2.6.21.7.pet <-- For Puppies 4.1.x and 4.2.x (retro)
I've downloaded and will try.

However wacom bamboo tablet works on Akita 6

I used wacom-0.8.4-4-k2.6.25.16.pet <-- For Puppies 4.1.x and 4.2.x (non-retro)
I found here http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 29&t=16491
