Numerica Keypad option needed for Puppy

#1 Post by ndujoe1 »

I have a Laptop type keyboard that has the arrow functions built into the numeric keypad. I don't have any separate arrows as on a standard keyboard.

Puppy Linux's US keyboard keymap doesn't recognize the numerica key pad option.

Can a keymap be easily created to read this codes when the Num Lock function is turned off.

probably...you'd have to see what text strings print out when you hit the Fn key and your keypad and map the resulting strings to the numbers/arrows.
