I tried installing in the 432 v3 that ttuuxxx is producing and also got the sqlite lib error.

I checked the libs after running the pet and noticed that no libtags were installed.
Seems to be an incomplete install?

OK, I got it working in 432 it will probably work for others who it won't work for.

I've made a small pet of the lib and link.

IMPORTANT -- Run this before the goggles pet.

To do so, I copied the lib libsqlite3-3.6.12.so.0.8.6 and then created a symlink libsqlite3-3.6.12.so.0

This got it to work.

ttuuxxx had changed the sqlite libs to make Sea Monkey 2 work.

Thanks Tasmod! I wonder how many other packages the sqlite update will affect? Maybe your fix should be added into 4.3.2.

No, thank you Jemimah. This is almost perfect for me.

My only gripe, no easy 'drag n drop' tune across to add to a new playlist.

This project is under quite active development, maybe you could put in an enhancement request.

http://code.google.com/p/gogglesmm/

Edit: Nevermind, you can already do it. You might have to double click the song, then drag it. Works for whole albums and artists too.

Hi everything fine for me, very nice music app! Thanks jemimah! One only "cosmetic" issue...enabling the tray icon doesn't work...the tray creates an empty space but there is no icon and clocking on it produces nothing...I'm on ttuuxxx's puppies4.30 (puppy 4.31)

hmmm, it works on Puppeee, though the build is slightly different. Can someone on 4.3.1 check? I think Ttuuxxx updated the gtk on Puppies, and forgot SVG support or something because I've had other problems with tray applets on Puppies in the past.

No, unless you maintain your music collection under iTunes (on Mac or Windows),
then regularly synchronise the iTunes music collection with Goggles MM.

If you want to directly connect your iPod Touch to Puppy in order to manage your music collection, you need gtkpod 1.0.0

worked fine on 2.14x once I made a system link so I repackaged it and uploaded it to http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 415#577415 when I compiled it, there were no icons, so I stuck with your version.
thanks

here's the latest goggles, version 0.12.4 working on lucid puppy. It has all the icons and includes libfox and taglib. Some older lucid puppy's may also need the 'xine' pet.

(this does work in slacko with the 'xine.pet', 'the icons.pet below' and 'mesa' installed, although it wouldn't work after i installed my nvidia driver??!!)

if you need xine you can get it here http://www.mediafire.com/file/9rvv692gx2ewd6c/xine.pet MD5 d5ad10ded37dcf89a00046c03b18f3eb

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!

I'm not too familiar with building PETs, but has anyone tried building gogglesmm 1.0.1 yet?

I needed to download and compile fox toolkit 1.7.51,then add libglew from the fatdog64 repo before compiling gogglesmm in fatdog64-700.

It's working fine.

Goggles is available from the precise Package Manager. Downloaded for OB-Precise. Perfect.
You can do without Jukeboxes, of course, but some nice application to listen music if expected by Puppy's users :!: as roots change desktops, they like some fun too, without computing programs.
Goggles MM is ready to use, from the PPM , even if you don't speak english or Linux, if you like Music with the album cover on the screen :P
Puppy 420 :
/usr/bin/gogglesmm: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl-gnutls.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
