This is a very fast drive-mounter.

It does NOT support Floppy drives.

It supports hard-disks and external drives, like USB-Sticks.
CD/DVD drives can be used from a second window, that increases speed.

Hot Backup

A tiny gtkdialog utility for backing up the live pupsave file. You no longer need to reboot with pfix=ram in order to backup the savefile. Lots of built-ins and safety features make it very "oops" proof.

Auto-detects the current savefile.
Generates the backup file name with the date and time appended.
Checks the available space for the backup file.
Will not perform the backup if anything is incorrect.
Displays real-time status and progress feedback.
Supports 2fs and 3fs save file types.

It's easy fast and works very well.

Much better.....now if the moderators would only take note. Even better would be if bigpup took note and modified his own posts to use the format you've shown.

Nope....due to a singular lack of participation I took it down. Since no one was willing to participate, I wasn't going to devote any more time and energy to what appeared to be a thankless task.

dejan555,

YES that works, but you are the only one that can edit that type of post. The way I did it anyone can.
Notice you added a comment post to something that was to only be a list of links.
I want something that more than just me can input to.

Yes others can comment with new links then you sort them out or they can send you pm to include their link or they can edit their posts, I don't know why you had to post separate post for YOUR OWN links and make 5 separate threads. But eh, do however you want.

InfoCentral4Wine --an object oriented file management system

InfoCentral4Wine --an object oriented file management system

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=54038

When installed under a compatible installation of wine, InfoCentral is both a relational database manager and an object-oriented file manager. As a relational database manager, it enables some flexibility in defining records, and great flexibility in defining fields within each record and how each record relates to any other record. It treats each record as an object idexing them for quick retrieval. Among the objects it are capable of indexing is every file on your computer, or, in other words, it can link every file on your computer to every person, event or thing in an infoCentral database for quick retrieval or editing: of particular value if you're engaged in a project. As Infocentral can open an application which created the file (or to create a new file), editing can be done in your choice of applications. But see above link for problems and limitations.
