Bugfix and improvement of network-setup scripts by Japanese Forum.

improved WEP wireless connection with wait which seems required for some hardwares.
proper error messages when connection failed
use one available connection even if multiple interfaces exist
automatical setting in case eth0 and DHCP available
allow manual disconnection and/or re-connection even when Wake-on-lan active.

Just 'd like to know which puppies it could run on...
i.e.: puppy 4.1.2 (k2.6.25.16) / 4.20 / 4.3.1, among others,
without having to update or add libs.

Hi, after some time away from Puppy (mostly because I was away from the computer itself) I installed the great Lighthouse pup.
I'm in São Paulo, Brazil and using ADSL to connect.
Roaring Penguin PPPoE is very problematic. If I hadn't gone trough that the first time I tried Puppy I would probably just discard this SO which is so good (particularly this puplet). It can be frustrating for someone to run rp-pppoe, see it saying that you're connected and not be able to browse the net. One just doesn't know what to do.
So I searched for my posts on this forum and found in maybe the first one how I did to connect the first time. If one doesn't do it just like rp-pppoe wants the first time one tries to connect then there's no way to get online. In our case here it's necessary to just hit Enter in rp-pppoe save for when it asks for the user name, the password and, I'm not sure if this influences or not, choose 1 (standalone) for the firewall option. This must be done correctly the first time rp-pppoe in run after boot otherwise it won't work.
pppoeconf, on the other hand, always work (I tried always in Debian based systems).
Maybe Upups and Dpups will come with it but for the other 4 series Puppies as a wish list I would like to ask, if possible, to replace rp-pppoe for pppoeconf. I don't know if it would take too much space with its dependencies but then I'm just telling about my experience.
