if you are going to include this in a minimal puplet and remove seamonkey - you should use flashplayer9 because some of the flash10 dependencies are in the seamonkey directory (nss and nspr)

I did try to install the static version 2,5 MB in whitefang 3.1 (50 MB, xvesa) under adding of the library libgio2.0 but it does not work.

You need glib 2.23+ and gtk+2.14+, not just gio. Earlier versions would have required libicu for decent unicode.

I like midori even if it crashes a lot closing too many tabs too fast. I use it as the default browser at the lupu-511 series and have decided too keep it and not to install another browser.

Compiling gets real hard work that can easily occupy hours and days to hunt for patches, missing older folders, needed libs and commands.

The libaspell thingy nerves a little bit and it would be nice to provide an attachment for the source, technosaurus. Running pfind to search in files may show up the files in which libaspell is demanded to comment them out by either // or /* */ .

I installed libaspell from debian or ubuntu on some lucis and everytime afterwards I can not open xerrs.log at geany anymore or the content has vanished. It seems not to be libaspell alone but it is one of them.

Running midori now for perhaps one hour threw almost 60 libaspell not found.

I don't complain with Midori 0.2.2.Pets are downloaded, You Tube video working, photo upload with facebook working. Not so bad.

In Precise i had a problem with Palemoon

After i fulled my RAM (as a Live USB), reboot, and now Palemoon at start says:

Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features.

It says i dont have the PSM (Personal Security Manager)....i uninstalled/reinstalled but this doesnt solve the problem :/

I can navigate in various sites, but in the Google-Facebook-Outlook things, says the PSM thing.

Dont know if is the flashplayer the problem, i updated with the getflash on Puppy, and later this error come across.

its also a really old version 5.5yrs, and since then there has been large improvements/security updates with webkit, html5, ssl etc, Consider these versions as very unstable for things like facebook. Would be nice if they updated it with the latest versions.

Doing the choice between so many browsers, access to included tools for editing your videos is essential, if you are teaching using Puppy Linux tools.
Midori 0.5.8 and an updated flasplayer should be successful (ok with X-Slacko Slim, Midori 0.5.8 included)
