Print to Windows printer from gnumeric????????

I have my printer (Canon i965) set up with Canon driver, and connected to a computer running MSoft XP. Before Puppy 4x came along, I could not print from Abiword, and used Ted for word processing. The problem got fixed with Puppy 4.
I've just used Gnumeric for the first time- and that has the same problem, although I'm using Puppy 4.3.1.
I had to copy the file over into my (seldom roused from its slumber) Debian minimal install, which did the job perfectly.
So whoever fixed the Abiword problem- can you fix Gnumeric too?
