Woof Woof compiled in Puppy 4.3.1 (but working in all other older puppies) Axel tries to accelerate HTTP/FTP downloading process by using multiple connections for one file. It can use multiple mirrors for a download. Axel has no dependencies and is lightweight, so it might be useful as a wget clone on byte-critical systems.

Hi dingo, thanks for this axel update... as i missed it in dpup-wheezy-3.5.2.5 as also a gui for it, here is a pet including a GUI for axel. enjoy! charlie
