Tibia is for Windows.
There used to be a Linux client, but it's no longer supported. I don't know what that means. Maybe it's not compatible with newer features.
I searched Tibia news and I didn't find a linux reference.

dex, if your friend still has the old linux-installer, we might try to convert it.
Try to get it, and upload at yourfilehost.com for example, so we can download it for an analyze.

no, not "wish tibia".
wish is for tcltk 8.4
Please run the included script "run-tibia".
This also is executed, when you click in the Dotpups-menu.

Don't know.
As it is a online-game, you might have to register as a new character on the Homepage Dex mentioned.

oh OK did all that - it now tells me my terminal version is too old and to get a new one at tibia.com
OK that is as far as I wish to test - maybe someone else will take it from here . . .
Thanks Mark

Hm.. the Linuxclient is V7.24 , the Windows-client V7.6.
So it is too outdated, and I saw no newer one.
Maybe the Windows-client will run with wine?
But I wont try that... I currently try to add 3D-models to Doomsday, but they crash my computer ... quite timeconsuming
