Does puppy have a book collection manager? If not, Alexandria might be an option. I have just installed it in Ubuntu and it looks quite good

Perhaps even better than Alexandria might be Tellico. it is part of teenpup

...but not yet made available as .pet or (better) hasslefreeapp.

Just had a quick look and perhas Tellico is a better option. For it to work in Puppy you will need KDE libs. There is a pet with the minimum KDE libs here:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/12/26 ... bs4c2a.pet

I dont know if you will need anymore, but that one is 26 mb.

It is probably worth getting in touch with John Biles the author of teen pup.

Alexandria is a gnome app i think and that would be a lot heavier.

I checked the package manager for Datacrow, but none found. Is there a forum pet somewhere of the latest 2015 version?

Hi gc.

No need for a pet archive, IMO. Simply download the zip package from the Datacrow
site and unpack it in your /mnt/home directory.

Remember that Datacrow is a java app, so you need to have a java JRE installed. It's
also big, close to a 100 Mb's.

To run, simply go in the Datacrow directory and click on its launch script. Or you can
create a datacrow.desktop entry to integrate to the jwm menu, etc.

BFN.
