Kmymoney2_0.8.9-1. SFS Subject description: tested in 421 and 412. and 431 |
|
Here is an SFS of kmymoney2_ 0.8.9-1
http://kmymoney2.sourceforge.net/index-home.html
| Quote: | * Accuracy. Using time tested double entry accounting principles KMyMoney can help ensure that your finances are kept in correct order.
* Ease of use. KMyMoney strives to be the easiest open source personal finance manager to use, especially for the non-technical user.
* Familiar Features. KMyMoney intends to provide all important features found in the commercially-available, personal finance managers. The current release is closer than ever to that goal and more improvements are already planned or being tested.
|
The SFS includes
kmymoney2_0.8.9-1
kdelibs4c2a
libofx4_0.9.0-3
libosp5_1.5.2-6
Tested in 421 and 412, although not fully as i do not know how to use the the app to its full. Thats the bit i will learn when i have time.
Why? Instead of drinking less and giving up smoking, this new years resolution is to get organised, as-well as get my finger out, etc etc.
Hope someone who knows what theyre doing with it will find it useful.

Link doesn't work. This looks interesting and appears to be much better than Homebank.

Kmymoney2_0.8.9-1 Rox Application |
|
I've made up a Kmymoney Rox Application for Pup 3x which has "on-the-fly" mounting/unmounting and linking/unlinking by clicking on the Kmymoney icon.
It can be found here-
http://cid-a3cf84e23b41f496.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public
Just untar the file to somewhere outside of the puppy save system and click on the icon to load and click again to unload.
It's also possible to use this with pre-pup3x by opening the Kmymoney Rox Application directory and replacing the "kmymoney2_0.8.9-1-sfs4.sfs" file with the "kmymoney2_0.8.9-1-sfs" one. You'll then have to rename it to "kmymoney2_0.8.9-1-sfs4.sfs" so that the file will be recognized.
I've symlinked two missing libs at a backlevel, but from what I can tell, everything seems to work.
Cheers,
s
(Will we now have more money and lower taxes )

sidders,
Thank you for this sfs. I've installed it on 432, dpup484b4, and Lighthouse and it works great.
Your success inspired me to try compiling and installing the latest stable Kmymoney2_1.0.3 for KDE3 on Lighthouse. However, I failed and gave up after a number of attempts. Compiling is too difficult for me to undertake since the instructions aren't detailed enough for me to accomplish it.
Please consider this update.
Thanks again,
Jim
