(Solved) Where can I find libdts.so.0 ?

#1 Post by whatshisname »

libdts.so.0 seems to be needed for mplayer, gxine and aqualung.

I was getting this error message for mplayer. I deleted everything mplayerish and reinstalled MPlayer-1.0rc2.pet and mplayer works now. Though video in gxine, which was working before I started mucking around with mplayer, is borked.

But now Aqualung is complaining that it can't find libdts.so.0. So I find myself in this multimedia vortex of problems that seem to center around the infamous libdts.so.0.

If someone could point me to a copy of it somewhere (yes, I've looked), I'd be most grateful.

It's not on Tuxxx's canonical list of libraries.

Thanks.

Voila! The next solution I tried worked!!

I deleted ffmpeg_svn_r7400 from my computer then downloaded and installed ffmpeg_DEV-20080731-i486.pet from ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributio ... ackages-4/
and I finally have all my video and audio working again with all my multimedia programs.

Whew! What a struggle this has been.
