I installed your .pet but I get nothing but the .desktop file and a few pictures. I installed the dependencies it said I needed. What am I missing? Do I need Java or something?

No it doesn't use java, I just repackaged it on page 1, the .desktop had a typo in it. so uninstall it and try the updated version.

hi ttuuxxx

I talked about this in a dpup bug thread, but since it seems to be a gPlanarity issue I thought I'd mention it again here.

The gPlanarity pet fires up in a blank window, and only after the window size has been increased do you get to see the program. This continues after closing and re-opening the app.

I have noticed, while resizing the window, that its original dimensions appear to be 0 x 0 (at least that's what the tooltip says that appears when I grab the window corner with the mouse). I have no idea if this is relevant or not :?

Its only a distraction, so I'm not really fussed but if you know of a fix, that'd be great.

For anyone that hasn't played gPlanarity because the application window is blank, just resize it, and all works :-)

edit: typo

yes but that's only a dpup issue, like I said it works perfect on 2.14X and probably every other puppy release. Still its a strange thing.

I lost some files recently during an Ubuntu upgrade and had no backup of GPlanarity profile. Anyway my wife was on level 46 & she let out a cry when I told her she had to start over. No throwing things at me though  If anyone knows how to tweak the file or could share a GPlanarity profile that's near level 46 that would be awesome, otherwise no big deal its just a game
Happy GPlanaritizing!!

hi omskates,

i'm in the level 50-53 range, but at work atm. Will follow ttuuxxx's instructions when I get home and post mine in.

edit: well I tar.gz'd the folder and it came to a li'l over a meg. but, i think the only file needed is levelstate (which is a li'l over 1k - uncompressed) - uploaded. Drop this in /root/.gPlanarity

if that file doesn't work, lemme know & i'll upload the full meg zip file

cheers

Hi folks,

I have a new version (r17906) of gPlanarity up that fixes the blank window bug and adds new translations.
