Just because I like being a downer: isn't using the ubuntu/debian/slackware logos a bit naughty? Unless permission is sought? I say this because technically they are registered marks I think.

The S on the sPup logo is generic.
Also, Slackware logo uses black S letter with white glow.
sPup use white blurred S.
Maybe the I have to delete the line below.
Besides those logos use only parts of registered logos, not whole.
BTW, here's another dPup and uPup logos (alternatives).

Can you do that one as a standard puppy logo?
Blue gradients and glow are really cool...

I think Puppy 4.4 will be an official standard Puppy (so will be Ppup?), and we already have an official Puppy logo, why don't we use it?
Maybe different color for different release?
I think the Pupplets that really needs logos, because they can't use the exact same logo as the official standard version (but can use variation of it - I think -- I'm not a lawyer, I don't know the legal aspect of trademarks).

BTW, if it helps, here a vector image of 4 puppies I draw from http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File: ... lilack.jpg. The owner has released it into public domain.
If not for logo, maybe for wallpaper, etc.

Afgs, Would you have any interest in designing a Logo and/or wallpaper for Puppeee? It will be out of Beta soon and could use a unique look.
