The S on the sPup logo is generic.
Also, Slackware logo uses black S letter with white glow.
sPup use white blurred S.
Maybe the I have to delete the line below.
Besides those logos use only parts of registered logos, not whole.
BTW, here's another dPup and uPup logos (alternatives).

I think Puppy 4.4 will be an official standard Puppy (so will be Ppup?), and we already have an official Puppy logo, why don't we use it?Lobster wrote:Very clever integration

I think the Pupplets that really needs logos, because they can't use the exact same logo as the official standard version (but can use variation of it - I think -- I'm not a lawyer, I don't know the legal aspect of trademarks).
BTW, if it helps, here a vector image of 4 puppies I draw from http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File: ... lilack.jpg. The owner has released it into public domain.
If not for logo, maybe for wallpaper, etc.

Last year I was contacted by forum member nibl and he requested me to design a logo for ipup, a puppy derivatives he was developing with raffy and pakt, here is what I sent. I wonder how the progress?
