Using a Dell Inspiron 4000/Puppy 4.3.1 frugal install/Orinoco Gold wifi card, I'm getting a strange CUPS error when trying to start CUPS:
# /etc/init.d/cups start
/usr/sbin/cupsd: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libcups.so.2: cannot read file data: Input/output error
cups: unable to start scheduler.
That so.2 lib is there in its directory, and so is its symlink. And, obviously, when trying to get into CUPS, I'm getting the dreaded:
The connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost:631.
Where should I start my troubleshooting?
Thanks,
Jake

This is solved. Go to this page:

Then download the libcups.so.2.pet, install, and voila, CUPS. I don't know why.
