Can't enlarge Pup001 (HD install w/ 64 MB RAM, no swap)

#1 Post by scole »

When you install puppy to the hdd all goes well. When you expand you space there is no problem. Why does puppy crash if resized to over 1gig? Also how when i run wine do i install to a different hdd? I will do everything the way i have learned to. The program is 750 mb i dont have enough space on pup1. :( Obviously i cant resize large enough to fit it. I have tried an install to a fat32 hdd that i can read/write to. It has 1gig free how do i get it to install. No matter where i try to install it the program refuses to work. It says that theres not sufficent space :( HELP!!

It sounds like you are trying to do hard things, that will require some learning/exploring.

I have learned how to make very small pupXXX files by hand. The story is here:

I think you'll need to learn about making very large pupXXX files by hand, and moving/copying/etc by hand...
